A great shop. Try to support a local book shop! Instead of ordering online from Amazon, I simply email this local shop, and they get the books in very quickly, if they don't have them in stock. The service is always helpful, even when shopping with noisy toddlers.

This is a wonderful bookshop. Exactly what a bookshop should be. Fabulous selection of titles, with no unbooky tosh - just lots and lots of great books. Also found the owner to be delightful - had a good old blether and she gave my daughter a lovely book bag free of charge. Worth the trip to Banchory for this little gem of a shop alone.

Last week, we bought a 10 plate Volvo XC70 from Banchory Car Centre. We had spoken to a few other dealers in Aberdeen and Dundee over the last few weeks over several other possible purchases but were not happy with their approach and level of knowledge about the cars they were selling. This drove me to consider buying privately or going to a car auction. Then we visited Banchory Car Centre last week and enjoyed a real breath of fresh air. In my experience, it's rare to deal with someone who actually has real knowledge and interest in cars and real pride and care over their level of service. Lee in particular was very attentive and went to great lengths to resolve some minor squeaks (tailgate) and knocks ( bushings ) before handing the car over. I should add that the trade in price and purchase price was pretty much in line with all the other dealers, if not perhaps a bit better. I always find it a bit sore, as a buyer, to pay dealers' margins but we all have to make a living and for me it's worth paying for a sincerely good level of service.

Lee's a decent guy and pretty honest to be fair, even though I didn't buy the car I'd be likely to go back to him if he had something that appealed to me again

Used Deeside removals today at very short notice for Martin and Jim, great service and would recommended and I will use again.

Used Martin a couple of years ago for a small local house removal and used again yesterday for a single item removal. A professional job on both ocasions and excellent value for money. The single item removal was with only one day's notice and I can't thank Deeside Removals enough.

Amazing play area set up inside that allows your child/children to play while you browse...why do all shops not have this?! All the clothes are of brilliant quality (you can tell that a lot of time has went into sourcing the right items!) and the packaging is just gorgeous. I love local, smaller shops like these as you get the best finds! Can’t recommend enough 👍🏻

Great little shop full of beautiful kids clothes! Always a relaxed pleasant atmosphere and very child friendly too, with changing facilities and a cute little play area in the middle of the shop. As always, brands sizing varies and they are great at letting you know if you need to size up or down on something. Very helpful!

I have bought many items on line (service fantastic) but was to Banchory as my husband was working there. I decided to go and meet everyone. Their welcome to me was very warm and friendly and helped me choose my dress 👗 for my Christmas 🎄 do on Saturday Fantastic service, lovely warm and friendly staff, would highly recommend and will definitely go again. Fantastic collection of outfits , I always get something beautiful here, well worth travelling afar to as I would say one of best fashion shops around with very attentive sales people. Great prices compared to some shops in the Aberdeenshire vicinity. Well done👍

They really know what they're doing here; any issue, even if you just want some on the spot advice they'll point you in the right direction no matter your level so tech-savyness. Older gentleman is a lovely guy, will chat with you till the cows come home.

They continuously look for tables to clear, people to serve, etc. Well priced for such good quality fare. Deli section has a large selection of local and artisan products. Toilets are well maintained and clean. Huge selection of homes are and gifts. Unusual and practical too! Garden centre is packed with a large selection of plants, stoneware, compost and garden furniture. Offers a variety of gardening products also. Large and varied pet selection. More than enough parking. And also an overflow car park. Worth a visit....you will soon go back

Perfect for gifts! It's not just a garden shop, they have a cafe and a restaurant, we tried the restaurant it was not that much but the cafe was pretty good also they have a good selection of sweets.

This shop is an absolute life-saver. Lovely guys, quick, efficient and super-friendly and knowledgeable. As a female I often get ignored/talked down to in other bike shops, but here they treat me with respect as a normal person - sadly an unusual state of affairs in bike shops I find! One of the best bike shops I've ever had the pleasure of frequenting. Thanks, Team Pete!

A fab place for buying furniture second hand! 3 units with various items in each. Loved the vintage until with some lovely pieces in there - if only we had a bigger house! We were looking for chest of drawers of a certain width but had only just missed out, you've got to be quick! Would be a fantastic place to go if you were just starting out, everything at great prices to and staff were very friendly and helpful!

Best 9 hole course in NE Scotland. Associated driving range gives opportunity for a good warm-up. We'll maintained and a pleasant layout. Green fees reasonable. Welcoming staff. Catering facilities very good and again reasonably priced with quality food.

No longer is Paul Lawrie associated with the course. The Teeroom is still fantastic.
